Petite Heure Minute Paillonnée Only Watch

For Only Watch 2015, Jaquet Droz created a special 18 karat yellow gold Petite Heure Minute Paillonnee – a unique example of one of the company’s most emblematic models. Designed with an elegant Bordeaux Grand Feu enamel dial fully decorated with paillons, which consist of creating a raised motif using tiny pieces of gold leaf, applied individually with great skill. The delicate enamel work requires the ability to obtain the required colors and translucent depth to reveal the sunray decoration. The dial’s color emulates the flag of Monaco, and is a particularly difficult one to obtain.

It’s powered by the self-winding mechanical Jaquet Droz 2653.P movement with 68-hours of power reserve. Paired smartly with a Bordeaux-colored, hand-crafted Alligator strap, the hand-engraved caseback stating "Unique Piece Only Watch 2015". This watch will be available for sale at Only Watch’s charity auction taking place in Geneva on 7 November 2015, with all funds benefiting research for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
