Louis Vuitton Escale Worldtime Only Watch 2015

Louis Vuitton has created an exceptional and unique interpretation of the Escale Worldtime, providing the only world time watch amongst the Only Watch 2015 charity auction’s 43, one-of-a-kind timepieces. Participating for the 5th time in Only Watch, we are proud to present their Escale Worldtime Only Watch 2015 "The World is a Dancefloor".

Created in collaboration with Paul Pettavino, the son of Only Watch founder Luc Pettavino, who wanted to create a playful dance floor pattern using vibrant, colored squares that echoed the design and function of the watch. The city, hour, and minute discs are all exquisitely hand-painted using miniature painting techniques performed by a master craftsman.

Time is displayed across 24 time zones using these discs – all adjusted by a single crown. In an 18 karat white gold, 41 mm case, it’s fitted with a blue alligator strap with orange stitching. The winning bidder will also receive a unique Louis Vuitton dark grey graphite canvas trunk, hand painted with "The World is a Dancefloor" to take on their world travels.

This watch will be sold on 7 November 2015 in Geneva, with all proceeds benefiting research for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
